Amanda began dreaming of becoming a massage therapist when she was around 9 years old. She had seen the benefits of massage and chiropractic care first hand when her family members received regular treatments. Upon discovering that she had a knack for massage, Amanda hoped to be able to develop that skill and help people through massage therapy when she grew up.
Amanda attended the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba and graduated from their 2200 hour course in 2011. She is currently a member in good standing with the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba (MTAM). Since graduating, Amanda has taken continuing education courses in hot stone massage, cupping, Reiki, and is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. Amanda has basic study in prenatal massage, deep tissue massage, and myofascial release.
When she is not at work, Amanda stays busy caring for her two cats, giant dog, and busy 3yr old. Getting outside and being active is important to Amanda and her family. They enjoy walks at the dog park, bike riding, camping, tobogganing, and skating, among other activities.
Amanda is very excited to be joining the Kramp team and she looks forward to meeting all of you.
