Brittany was drawn to a career in massage therapy as a way for her to help people in a natural and hands-on way. She is firm believer in allowing the body to heal itself, without the use of drugs masking symptoms, whenever possible.
In 2016 she graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies and is a member of the Remedial Massage Therapists Society of Manitoba. Brittany has taken additional courses in pregnancy massage, rib mobilization, myofascial release, and hot stone massage. In the coming year she looks forward to adding cupping therapy and reflexology to her skill set.
Providing individual treatment plans including stretches and exercises combined with education is something that Brittany believes is vital to the recovery process. Whether it’s a specific injury or chronic aches and pains she will tailor the treatment to each client’s needs. Brittany particularly enjoys treating neck or low back and hip pain, as well as working with expectant mothers.
In her free time Brittany can usually be found gardening, refinishing furniture, or doing yoga. She also spends much of her time with her husband and their fur children, often hiking with their three dogs.
