Chelsea always knew she was destined to work in the health care field. She fell in love with massage as it is a natural way to address many ailments, from stress and anxiety to acute or chronic injuries to general maintenance and health of soft tissues. She is excited to be working with Kramp Chiropractic to help achieve optimal health and well being of all their clients!

Education

Chelsea is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba in January 2018. Throughout her time in college, Chelsea volunteered her skills to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and the massage team for the 2017 Canada Games. She has also provided post event massage at different marathons throughout Manitoba. Chelsea has also obtained her certification in cupping. She is keen on learning, and is always striving to better herself and her skills through experience and education.

Career

Cupping is a tool for working with fascia, a strong connective tissue that touches and envelopes every structure in our body, helping to provide support and movement. Chelsea believes work to our fascia tissue, superficial and deep, is important to achieving joint mobility and reducing pain. She also enjoys scar work, and has had success in the rehabilitation with injuries or surgeries that produce scar tissue.

Personal Information

Chelsea loves to snowboard, and has recently taken up kayaking and back country camping. She also loves yoga, and will be obtaining her Yoga Teacher Training certificate later this Spring (2018). Chelsea has 2 chihuahuas, whom she enjoys taking on bike ride adventures around the city.
