One thing that has become evident over the last 2 years is that people are not drinking enough water. With increased mask wearing we are finding that we are losing more water through sweat as our body temperatures increase slightly from breathing in the warm air. This also may be tricking the thirst reflex as we are breathing in moist air. In turn lots of people will think that they can’t be dehydrated because they don’t feel thirsty; however, that’s not the case. There are many people that are suffering the effects of dehydration and aren’t aware of it.
Here are some of the signs and symptoms of dehydration:
