Got cranberries? I certainly do. This holiday season I have been crazy about cranberries.  I made cranberry sauce, desserts, and punch. I will be using the left-over cranberries to make this sweet and spicy dip, perfect for a New Year’s Eve or other party.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries, chopped

  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

  • 1/2 teaspoon very finely chopped jalapeño

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Pinch of salt

  • Pinch of black pepper

Directions

1. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, honey, and lemon juice until well combined.

2. Mix in all of the spices (garlic powder, paprika, cinnamon, salt and pepper).

3. Fold in the fresh and dried cranberries, parsley, and jalapeño.

4. Chill until ready to serve. Serve with raw veggies or crackers.
