Bring a little Caribbean to your Christmas with my twist on a holiday classic. This vegan eggnog has the smooth and rich flavour of coconut milk and Caribbean spices without the eggs, dairy, nuts or gluten.


  • 3 cups unsweetened soy or hemp milk

  • 1 can (13.5 oz) full-fat coconut milk

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon rum extract

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice


1. Blend all of the ingredients together in a blender until frothy.

2. Pour into four small glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
